Job Title: Communications Project Manager
Supervisor: Communications and Connections Senior Director
The position’s focus is project management and organization in the Communications and Marketing Department. The Communications and Connections Director is responsible for all areas under Communications and Marketing. The Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage incoming project requests from all departments and see them through the execution process.
Required Skills:
- Interdepartmental Communication
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom)
Administration
- Ensure that all working files, project assets, and final project files are placed in the correct media folders for easy sharing and archiving.
- Manage the organization of all media, including but not limited to graphic design, video, and photography.
- Review all copy that comes to the Communications department for grammatical and brand errors.
- Attend weekly and monthly marketing meetings to assist in creating future marketing campaigns for departments and ministry events.
Project Management
- Manage and execute all departmental project requests from beginning to end. This includes, but is not limited to, photography, graphics, and video requests.
- Manage the social media calendar to ensure content is being created and posted.
- Manage all social media accounts affiliated with Waymaker.Church, with the exception of ministry-specific accounts (i.e., Rally, WayYouth).
- Manage the marketing campaign calendar to ensure each element of the campaign is designed, ordered, and/or delivered before the campaign’s launch.
- Build and maintain working relationships with vendors.
- Pick up all orders from local vendors as needed.
Graphic Design:
- Assist in designing graphic projects as needed and assign projects to third-party companies or independent graphic design contractors.
